A simple fix is to begin by replacing old, dull bulbs with new ones – so simple yet can completely brighten your space.
We recommend 2700K warm white and dimmable if your circuit allows to soften the ambience in the evenings.
At a bit more cost we would recommend new light fixtures. Consider layering your lighting, with a combination of ambient lighting and task lighting to create a well-illuminated room.
At ASJ Design we love to combine task lighting for focused illumination with carefully placed ambient lighting to highlight key features and to set the mood.
Task lighting can be incorporated with ceiling fixtures or incorporated into your mirror with LED’s and layered with wall lights or a decorative pendant for ambient lighting.

Mirrors not only add depth and dimension to a bathroom but also reflect light, making the space appear more spacious and luminous.
They are also fantastic décor pieces, and we think a framed wall-mounted mirror adds elegance to any bathroom. Consider using decorative frames to match your aesthetic. You can even opt for a vintage or antique mirror for a more unique touch.

Consider adding in a rug to provide warmth underfoot as well. We have been loving adding rattan and wicker to bathrooms to infuse texture with style.
Another way to layer texture is adding plants, these can be fake or real, but they add a touch of colour and nature as well as creating a layer of texture.
